Distance healing is energy healing carried out without the healer and the person being in the same room. Because prana, the life energy Pranic Healing works with, is not limited by physical distance, a session done remotely can be just as effective as one done in person. You stay wherever you are — home, another city, another country — and receive the healing at an agreed time.
It sounds unusual the first time you hear it, and most people are a little sceptical. That is fair. Energy is invisible, yet its effects on the body and mind are what people actually notice — better sleep, less pain, a calmer head. So rather than ask you to take it on faith, this page explains how it works, what a session actually involves, and what it can and cannot do.
How distance healing works
Pranic Healing treats the body’s energy field, not the physical body directly. A healer scans your energy, clears the congested or depleted areas, and replenishes them with fresh prana. None of that requires touch — even in an in-person session, the healer’s hands stay a few inches away from the body. Once you remove touch from the equation, the next question is obvious: does the healer need to be physically near you at all? The answer, in this system, is no.
Energy responds to focused intention and attention. A trained healer can connect with your energy field using your name and a photograph, direct healing to it, and get feedback by scanning, exactly as they would if you were sitting in front of them. This is not a workaround invented for the internet age. Distance healing has always been part of Pranic Healing, and GrandMaster Choa Kok Sui taught precise techniques for it decades ago. The same principle is why a practice like Twin Hearts Meditation can send peace and healing energy to people and places far away.

Does distance healing actually work?
The honest answer is that it works when it is done properly, and it is not magic. Distance healing follows the same disciplined method as an in-person session — scanning, cleansing, energising, checking the result — so its success depends on the healer’s skill and your openness, not on how many kilometres sit between you.
What it will not do is replace medical care or guarantee an outcome. Pranic Healing is complementary support. It can ease pain, calm the mind, lift low moods, improve sleep and help the body recover faster, and many people feel something during or shortly after the very first session. But it works alongside your doctor and your own effort, never instead of them. If you want to gauge it for yourself, our client testimonials describe what real people experienced, in their own words.
What a remote healing session looks like
There is very little you need to do, which surprises people who expect something complicated.
- You share your name, a recent photograph and a short account of what you are dealing with.
- We agree on a time. You do not have to be on a call for the whole session — you simply need to be relaxed and undisturbed, ideally lying down or sitting quietly, for the agreed window.
- The healer scans your energy, clears what needs clearing, and energises the areas that are depleted.
- Afterwards, you are told what was found and what to do between sessions — often some rest, water, and a simple practice to keep the energy stable.
Most people feel lighter, calmer or warmer during the session. Some feel a wave of tiredness afterwards as the body settles, which passes. A self-healing session is a good way to maintain the work on your own between appointments.
What remote healing can help with
Because it reaches your energy field rather than a specific spot on your body, distance healing covers the same ground as in-person work. People come to us remotely for:
- Physical and emotional health — pain, fatigue, recovery, anxiety, low mood and stress. This is the heart of physical and emotional healing.
- Children’s wellbeing — focus, sleep and calm, including support for autism, ADHD and ADD, which suits children who dislike clinical settings.
- Work and money — clearing the energy behind stuck finances and repeated money problems, and business healing for growth and stability.
- Guidance and emotional support — when you need someone to talk things through with, counselling can be combined with healing.
Not sure which of these fits your situation? Send a quick message on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether distance healing is worth trying for you.
Is a distance session as effective as being there in person?
For most issues, yes. The method is identical, and experienced healers work remotely every day without any drop in results. In-person sessions have their own value — some people simply feel more reassured in the same room, and certain physical conditions benefit from repeated hands-off work that is easier to schedule locally. If you are in Kolkata and would rather come in, you are welcome at our healing centre. For everyone else, distance is not a compromise; it is just the practical way to get the same help.
Distance healing, anywhere in the world
This is how we work with most people outside Kolkata. Time zones are not a problem — sessions are scheduled to suit you, and the healing itself does not depend on you being awake or online at that exact moment. Whether you are in India, the Gulf, Singapore, the UK, the US or anywhere else, the process is the same, and you never have to travel.
If you would eventually like to heal yourself and your family without booking every session, learning the practice is an option too. The Pranic Healing classes teach the foundations, including how to do distance healing yourself.
How to book a distance healing session
The simplest way to start is a short conversation. Tell us what is going on, and we will explain honestly whether Pranic Healing can help and how many sessions it might take. Frequently Asked Questions on Distance Healing
Does distance healing really work, or do I have to be present?
You do not have to be present. Pranic Healing works on your energy field, which a trained healer can reach remotely using your name and photograph. The method is the same one used in person, so the results are comparable.
Is distance healing as good as an in-person session?
For most concerns, yes. The scanning, cleansing and energising steps are identical. In-person work is available if you prefer it, but distance sessions are not a lesser version.
What do I need to do during a session?
Very little. Be relaxed and undisturbed for the agreed time, ideally sitting or lying down quietly. You do not need any equipment or special skill.
Can you heal someone who is not present, such as a child or an elderly parent?
Yes, this is common, especially for children and for family members who cannot travel. We only ask that healing is done with the person’s knowledge and consent wherever possible.
Will it replace my medical treatment?
No. Distance healing is complementary support. Please continue any medical care and treatment your doctor advises — energy healing works alongside it, not in place of it.
Can I book from outside India?
Yes. We work with people across the world, and sessions are scheduled around your time zone.
Pranic Healing is a complementary practice and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified doctor about any medical condition.
